How we pick products on GermanShepherdPlace.com.

## Criteria

1. **Category fit for German Shepherds.** A great medium-dog crate isn’t great for a 75-lb GSD. We filter for breed-appropriate sizing.
2. **Sizing transparency.** We prefer products with clear charts (chest girth, neck, length, weight).
3. **Durability for double-coated, high-drive, large breeds.** Hardware grade matters.
4. **Training compatibility.** We favor gear that works with positive-reinforcement methods, not against them.
5. **Cleanability.** Washable covers, removable trays, machine-washable accessories.

## What we don’t do

– We don’t fake star ratings or aggregate fake scores.
– We don’t pretend to have hands-on tested every product we mention.
– We don’t accept paid placement.
– We don’t list a product if it raises safety concerns for a large, strong breed.
