Best Brush for a German Shepherd (Deshedding + Grooming Tools)

German Shepherds are double-coated dogs. They shed daily, and twice a year they **blow coat** — the undercoat releases in serious tufts. The right brushes turn a fur disaster into a 5-minute routine.

## The 3-brush system

1. **Undercoat rake or deshedder** — gets out the loose undercoat. Use during shedding season most days; weekly otherwise.
